Autograph Sentiment signed: "[German sentiment]/Gisela Deege/22-6-55", 4½x3¼ calendar page. Pencil note (unknown hand): Ballet - Berlin. German dancer Gisela Deege (1928-1997) made her ballet debut as Julie in Romeo and Juliet in Dresden in 1943. From 1947 to 1950, she was prima ballerina of the Berlin State Opera, and later the Dance Theater - Berlin, working under the guidance of choreographer Tatjana Gsovsky. She performed with touring companies in the 1950s, and appeared in a few German-language films. Pencil and ink notes (unknown hand) at bottom (not affecting signature).
