Sports Card signed: "Glenn Abbott". Color, 2½x3½. Topps card #591 for 1975. Career Major and minor league record through 1974 on verso. Signed in ink above facsimile signature. Glenn Abbott, primarily a starter, pitched for Oakland A (1973-1976), Seattle (1977-1983) and Detroit (1983-1984). He won 12 games twice with the Mariners. On September 28, 1975, Abbott pitched one inning of a 4-pitcher no-hitter begun by Vida Blue and finished by Rollie Fingers. (Paul Lindblad was the fourth A's hurler.) After retiring from the field, Abbott began a long career as a minor league pitching coach, most recently with the Portland Beavers. Lower left corner creased. Otherwise fine condition.
