Inscribed Signature: "To Kayo/Sincerely/Glenn Anders", 4¼x3 card with
1¼x1¾ b/w magazine photo affixed to upper right corner. A stage actor who got
his start in vaudeville, Glenn Anders (1889-1981) appeared in over three
dozen Broadway plays between 1919 and 1958, including three Pulitzer
Prize-winning plays: Hell Bent for Heaven and They Knew What They
Wanted (both 1924) and Strange Interlude (1928). His rare film
appearances including The Lady from Shanghai (1947) and the remake of
M (1951). He appeared in several TV playhouse performances in the early
1950s. Slight toning on upper right edge. Otherwise fine
condition.
