is a retired NHL goaltender who backed the New York Islander defense for six
seasons (1973-1981), winning one Stanley Cup in 1980. After he was traded
from the Islanders in 1981, Resch played for the Colorado Rockies through
their transition to the New Jersey Devils. Although the Devil's weren't a
winning team, Resch stuck with his squad until he was traded to the Philadelphia
Flyers in 1986. Resch didn't play very often, but he helped coach the younger
talents on the team. He retired in 1988, and now is a sportscaster. Resch is
the recipient of the 1981-82 NHL Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy and played on
the 1975-76 and 1978-79 NHL All-Star Team. In his career, Resch played 571,
making 3670 saves. Binding holes on left edge. Toned. Edges worn. Pencil note in
