GLENN CLOSE
Black and white publicity photograph for the movie Fatal Attraction.
Photograph signed: "Glenn Close". B/w, 8x10 overall, image 6½x8 (one surface). Publicity photograph by Wayne Maser for the 1987 psychological thriller, Fatal Attraction. ©1987, Paramount Pictures Corporation. Captioned at lower margin: "Glenn Close stars as Alex Forrest in Paramount Pictures' thriller 'Fatal Attraction.'" The film also starred Michael Douglas and Fred Gwynne. Glenn Close, one of Hollywood's most celebrated actresses, has also been successful on television and in stage productions, most notably the acclaimed 1991 made-for-TV movie Sarah, Plain and Tall, which was successful enough to have two sequels, and the Broadway musical version of Sunset Boulevard. She has been nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for Dangerous Liaisons (1988) in addition to Fatal Attraction, and Close has received three Best Supporting Oscar nominations: The World According to Garp (1982), The Big Chill (1983) and The Natural (1984). She was also nominated for an Emmy Award in 2005 for her performance in the critically acclaimed TV series, The Shield. Minor crease at right blank margin and lower right blank corner.
