Typescript signed "G. T. Seaborg". 3 pages, 8 ½ x 11, single-sided. Typed copy of the 1963 Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Seaborg (1912-1999) shared the 1951 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work as co-discoverer of elements #94 Plutonium, #95 Americium, #96 Curium, #97 Berkelium and #98 Californium. Later, he played a part in creating elements #99 Einsteinium, #100 Fermium, #101 Mendelevium and #102 Nobelium. In 1994, a new element (#106 Seaborgium) was named after him, the first time the honor has been bestowed upon a living person. Lightly toned and creased. Random ink stains. Paper clip impression at top edge. Otherwise in fine condition.
