Gloria Hendry (b. 1949) was a popular star of black-oriented action films of
the 1970s such as Black Caesar (1973) and its sequel Hell Up in
Harlem (1973). Furthermore, she was the first African American woman
romantically involved with James Bond in the role of Rosie Carver in Live
and Let Die (1973). In the 1980s she mostly appeared on television, on
series such as The Brady Brides (1981), Falcon Crest
(1987), and Doogie Howser, M.D. (1992). Corners round. Light
