Johns informs "gentlemen" authorizing checks and other payments payable to her to be sent to General Artists Corporation and agreeing to indemnify the sending party for any resultant loss. Matted with an unsigned photo of Johns (color, 8x10) to an overall size of 18x12. English actress Glynis Johns, born in South Africa (1923) while her acting parents were touring there, was certified to teach ballet at age 10 and made her stage debut at 12, winning prominence the next year for her part in The Children's Hour (1936). Johns' film roles have included Miranda (as a mermaid, 1946), The Court Jester (1956), Mary Poppins (1964) and While You Were Sleeping (1995). She had her on series on American TV (1963). She won a Tony as Best Actress for A Little Night Music (1973). Fine condition. Matted by unknown individual. Not reviewed by us for conservation integrity. "As is" matting purchase.
