JOHN AMOS (b. 1941) is a Golden Gloves champ and once played pro football with the United Football League. However, he remains best known for his Emmy-nominated performance as the adult Kunta Kinte in Roots (1977), as well as his lighter roles as Gordy the weatherman on The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977) and James Evans, Sr., wife of Florida Evans, on Good Times (1974-1976). (All of these roles have earned him shared TV Land Awards.) In all, he has almost 90 movies and TV shows to his credit since 1970, including recurring roles on Maude (1973-1974), Future Cop (1977), 704 Hauser (1994), In the House (1995-1997), The District (2000-2001), All About the Andersons (2003-2004), The West Wing (2006-2008) and Men in Trees (2006-2008). He's also put his hulking, muscular body to good use in such roles as Seth the bodyguard in the sword-and-sorcery cult classic The Beastmaster (1982) and as turncoat Major Grant in Die Hard 2 (1990). Comedian, actor, entertainer, and writer JIMMIE "J.J." WALKER (b. 1947) is best known for his role as James "J.J." Evans, Jr. on the 1974-1979 sitcom Good Times, a spin-off of Maude. Walker, whose exuberant catch phrase, "Dyno-mite", later became the title of one of his comedy albums, was nominated for Best Supporting Actor Golden Globes in 1974 and 1975. Walker has also appeared in a number of feature films including Let's Do It Again (1975), Rabbit Test (1978), Airport '79: Concorde (1979), Airplane! (1980), Going Bananas (1988), and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). In addition he has been in a number of made-for-TV movies and is a popular guest star on TV series, late night talk shows, and game shows. His first love is stand-up comedy, however, and Walker, who was named Comedian of the Decade by "Time" magazine in the 1970s, spends 25-30 weeks a year on the road entertaining audiences in the U.S. and abroad. RALPH CARTER (b. 1961) is an American actor and singer. He is primarily known for his work as a child and teenager, both in the Broadway musical "Raisin" (based on the Lorraine Hansberry drama "A Raisin in the Sun") and as Michael Evans, the youngest child of Florida and James Evans, Sr. on the CBS sitcom Good Times from 1974 to 1979. In 1975, Carter recorded an album called When You're Young and in Love. The title song, along with another song on the album called "Extra, Extra", charted at No. 10 and No. 12 respectively. BERN NADETTE STANIS (b. 1953), born Bernadette Stanislaus, is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Thelma Ann Evans-Anderson, the only daughter of Florida and James Evans Sr. on the CBS sitcom Good Times (1974-1979). She is also the author of several books including Situations 101: Relationships, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly and a collection of poetry: For Men Only. Fine condition.
