OF ISSUE. Andrew F. Schoeppel (1894-1962) was an American politician and a member
of the Republican Party who was the 29th Governor of Kansas from 1943 to 1947 and a
U.S. Senator from 1949 until his death. During his youth he played college football from
1920 to 1922 while attending the University of Nebraska and made an honorable mention
on one of Walter Camp's first All-America football teams. Lightly toned. Typed notations
on front. Otherwise, fine condition.
