is an American Republican politician who served as the 40th Governor of Colorado from
1999 to 2007. He was re-elected in 2002 by the largest majority in the history of the state,
after making transportation, education and tax cuts the focus of his governorship. Owens
acquired a Master's degree in Public Affairs from the University of Texas, Lyndon B.
Johnson School of Public Affairs. After politics, he became Managing Director at Renew
Strategies, a Denver-based land and water development firm. Owens is on a number of public
boards including: Key Energy, Cloud Peak Energy, Bill Barrett Corporation and Federal
Signal. Soiled on verso. Lightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
