Lehman (1878-1963) the investment banker (Lehman Brothers) and philanthropist, served as New York Lieutenant Governor (1928-1932), Governor (1932-1942) and U.S. Senator (1949-1957). Lehman also served as Director General of the U.N. Relief and Rehabilitation Agency (1943-1946) and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom (posthumously) in 1963. Julius C.C.
