Mahoney, Young & Rubicam, Inc.. New York, New York. In Full: "Dear
Mr. Mahoney: This will acknowledge your letter with reference to S. 2559 to
amend the copyright Law. This measure is now before the Senate Judiciary
Committee and it is impossible to pre-dict when it will be reported out for
consideration by the full Senate. When it does come before the Senate, however,
I shall certainly give it my full attention, keeping your views in mind. Yours
very sincerely," Herbert H. Lehman (1878-1963) the investment banker
(Lehman Brothers) and philanthropist, served as New York Lieutenant Governor
(1928-1932), Governor (1932-1942) and U.S. Senator (1949-1957). Lehman also
served as Director General of the U.N. Relief and Rehabilitation Agency
(1943-1946) and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom (posthumously)
in 1963. Edges lightly creased. Horizontal fold creases-through complete
