8½x11. Helena, Montana, July 16, 1941. On his letterhead as Governor of
Montana, to "My dear Mr. Wishnefsky", Seymour Wishnefsky, Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, in full: "It gives me pleasure to send you my autograph, in
compliance with your request of the fourteenth instant. Cordially yours,".
Republican Samuel Clarence Ford (1882-1961) was elected the 12th
Governor of Montana in 1941. Serving for 8 years, he maintained Montana's
budget, launched the Missouri River development project and addressed
social issues of World War II. Normal mailing folds. Toned. Creased. Corners
