Walter Jodok Kohler (1904-1976) was the Republican Governor of Wisconsin from 1951-1957. A veteran of WWII and President of the Kohler Company, which was founded by his grandfather, Kohler was an unsuccessful candidate for the U.S. Senate seat caused by the death of Joseph McCarthy in 1957. He was the son of Walter J. Kohler, Sr. (1904-1976), who was Wisconsin's Governor from 1929-1931, and the father of Terry Kohler, who unsuccessfully ran for Governor of Wisconsin in 1982. Slightly creased. Fine condition.
