Fields (1898-1979), born Grace Stansfield, was the highest paid British
actress and biggest film box office draw of the 1930s. Films of the singer
comedienne included We're Going To Be Rich and Smiling Along
(1938). Fields was married to Monty Banks, who directed many British films of
the same era, from 1940 until his death in 1950. She was created Dame
Commander O.B.E. in 1979. Lightly creased not evident head on. Pin holes at
corners. Lightly worn at edges and corners. Overall, fine
condition.
