Contract signed "Granville Van Dusen" as Performer in blue ink and by a representative of ABC in black ink. 2 pages, 8¼x13¾, 1 sheet, front and verso. Dec. 23, 1974. Van Dusen signed this contract with ABC to appear as Dan Oberlin in the Dec. 23, 1974 episode of General Hospital. He was to be paid $203.50 plus 10 percent. Van Dusen, born in 1944, was a stage actor, appearing on Broadway twice in 1969, before making his movie debut in The Statue (1971). In all, he's appeared in almost a hundred movies, TV shows and video games, including the roles of Keith Dennison on The Young and the Restless (1998-2001), David Vincent Bordisso on Port Charles (1999) and, on a lighter note, Dr. Hill on Soap (1980). He's also appeared on Enterpirse as a klingon magistrate (Judgment, 2003) and an andorian general (Proving Ground, 2004) and in recurring roles as Graham Wells on Hill Street Blues (1986), Zach Matthews in Karen's Song (1987) and Judge Carence Faraday in Judging Amy (2000-2001). In addition, Van Dusen has done voice acting, voicing Race Bannon in the 1986 and 1996 revamps of Jonny Quest and characters in the video games Dead to Rights (2002), Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (2003) and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (2004). Lightly toned and creased. Light nick in right edge. Red ink stain in top right corner. Paper clip impression in top left corner. Folded once. Otherwise in fine condition.
