Typed Letter signed: "Greg". 1 page, 7¼x10½. Los Angeles,
California, 1988 October 10. On his personal stationery to Nicole, Arnold,
Gene, Susan and everyone at Triad (his agent). In full: "Thank you for
your kind and funny message. Let's put the old boy to work by March 9th. It
would be stylish to fly in from location for the big night." Nominated
for five Academy Awards for Best Actor, Gregory Peck (1916-2003) won the 1963
Oscar for the role of Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird. He received nominations in 1946 for
portraying Father Francis Chisholm in The Keys of the Kingdom, in 1947
for the role of Pa Baxter in The Yearling, 1948 for playing Phil Green in
Gentleman's Agreement and 1950 for the role of Brigadier General Frank in
Twelve O'Clock High. He won the American Film Institute's Lifetime
Achievement Award in 1989. Four filing holes at top. Normal mailing folds.
