GRETA BLACKBURN
A handwritten letter from the actress discussing her favorite movie roles
Autograph letter signed: "Greta Blackburn", 1 page, 6x8. No place, circa 1984. To "Mr. Axelrod" in full: "Thank you for your request. I guess my best role to date was in the movie '48HRS' because the movie was such a hit. I loved working with the director Walter Hill and also being involved in Eddie Murphy's first movie. I also enjoyed working with James Mason in 'Yellowbeard.' He was an extraordinary actor and a consummate professional. He was truly a great actor. Of the T.V. shows I've guest-starred on (including Dynasty, Three's Company, Automan, Just our Luck, Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer, and 'V: The Final Battle') I most enjoyed working on 'Mike Hammer' because Stacy Keach is such a supporting actor to work with. Thank you for your interest." Greta Blackburn (b.1956) is an American actress, most known as the blonde bombshell, Lisa, in 48HRS (1982). She also played in Chained Heat (1983), Yellowbeard (1983) and My Blue Heaven (1990). On television she has made guest appearances on V: The Final Battle (1984), The New Mike Hammer (1984) and Dynasty (1983-1986). While she had been very active during the 1980s, Blackburn's career slowed as she entered the 90s, with her most recent on-screen appearance being Dragnet (2003). A model since her teenage years, she is the founder and editor of Ms. Fitness Magazine. Light haloing around ink. Otherwise, fine condition.
