GUN DUEL IN DURANGO MOVIE CAST: RED BARRY and STEVE BRODIE Both sign this still from the film that shows the aftermath of a gun duel Printed Photograph signed in Ink: "Don Red Barry" in red felt tip and "Steve Brodie" in black felt tip, b/w, 10x8. Captioned movie still from Gun Duel in Durango (1957). DONALD BERRY (1912-1980), became known as "Red" after he starred in many Republic Pictures western films of the 1940s, notably the serial The Adventures of Red Ryder. He made roughly 200 guest appearances in TV series such as Perry Mason, Bonanza, Dragnet 1967, and Ironside and played supporting roles in films - Shalako (1968), Crash (1978), and Back Roads (1980) among them - until his suicide in 1980. STEVE BRODIE (1919-1992) played supporting roles in many highly regarded films, including A Walk in the Sun, Out of the Past, The Steel Helmet and The Caine Mutiny. Late in his career, he also appeared in some clunkers lampooned on Mystery Science Theater 3000 (The Wild World of Batwoman, The Giant Spider Invasion). He played frequent TV guest roles from the early 1950s onward, including multiple appearances on The Lone Ranger, Science Fiction Theater, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Wyatt Earp, Perry Mason and Bonanza. Lightly toned. Staple holes at top edges. Corners lightly creased and worn. "Red Berry" in poor contrast, but legible. Otherwise, fine condition.
