GUN SHY CAST: LIAM NEESON and OLIVER PLATT. Photograph signed: "Liam Neeson/Hi", "Oliver Platt". B/w, 10x8 overall, image 9x6 (one surface). Captioned movie still. In this 2000 film, Neeson portrays an undercover DEA agent, near retirement and thinking about his love life, confronting Platt as an aspiring drug lord. LIAM NEESON, born in Northern Ireland, got his distinctive broken nose in an early career as a boxer. His first big acting break occurred on the Broadway stage, when he was nominated for a Tony for Anna Christie (1992), playing opposite future spouse Natasha Richardson. This performance earned Stephen Spielberg's attention, the title role in Schindler's List (1993), and an Oscar nomination as Best Actor. Thereafter, Neeson was a major star, featured in such vehicles as Rob Roy (1995), Michael Collins (1996), Star Wars: the Phantom Menace (1997), K-19: the Widowmaker (2002), Batman Begins (2005), and The Chronicles of Narnia (2005, as the voice of the lion Aslan). Seldom cast in the top-billed role, OLIVER PLATT is readily recognizable for his strong and versatile supporting roles, from comic to villain and sometimes both at once. His film debut was in Working Girl (1988). Other film credits include Beethoven (1992), The Three Musketeers (1993), Dangerous Beauty (1998), Ash Wednesday (2002) and The Ice Harvest (2005).
