Printed Art Signed: "Günter Grass", 4x6. Printed reproduction of an
etching titled "Federnbläser", by Gunter Grass, 1974. Verso announces an
exhibition of etchings by Grass (1927-2015) at the Weyhe Gallery, New York City,
April 9-May 6, 1977. German novelist and social critic Grass was awarded the
1999 Nobel Prize for Literature for his body of work, which included his first
novel, The Tin Drum (1959), the first of his The Danzig
Trilogy. The trilogy, which also included Cat and Mouse
and Dog Years, captured German reaction to the rise of Nazism, the
horrors of war and the nation's guilt following Hitler's regime. Nail head
sized spot in lower right. Otherwise, fine condition.
