19. On official letterhead of the Glenn L. Martin Company. Addressed to “Mr. Henry
Woodhouse, Managing Editor,/ Flying,/ 290 Madison Ave.,/ New York City.” To “Dear Sir”. In
full: “We are returning herewith, autographed by Mr. Martin, your letter of December 16th,
written in connection with the first trip of the Aerial Mail Line between New York, Cleveland
and Chicago. Yours very truly”. H. F. Lawson was the secretary of Glenn L. Martin. Two
horizontal mailing folds. Lightly toned, especially around edges. Vertical crease about 1 inch
inward from the left edge. Otherwise, fine condition.
