HAL "PORKY" RENIFFSigned limited edition card honoring the New York Yankees' 1961 championship season, with an illustration by Ron Lewis of Hal Reniff in Yankee pinstripes Sports card signed "Hal Reniff" in blue ink. Color, 3½x5½. Illustration by Ron Lewis. This card, part of a limited edition of 10,000 honors the New York Yankees' championship season in 1961 and shows Reed's stats for that season and his career on verso. Hal Reniff (1938-2004), born Harold Eugene Reniff, was a major league pitcher from 1961 to 1967, mostly with the New York Yankees. He was a member of the Yankees 1961 championship roster, though he didn't play in the World Series. Reniff was also an effective relief pitcher in the Yanks' pennant races of 1963 and 1964, placing in the American League's Top 10 for saves in the 1963 regular season. In all, he had a career record of 21-23 with 45 saves, an ERA of 3.27 and 314 strikeouts. Lightly toned and bowed, otherwise in fine condition.
