HAL SWAIN (1894-1966) was a British saxophonist, band leader, and composer. He appeared in 3 short films dedicated to his music: Hal Swain and His Sax-O-Five (1930), Classic v Jazz (1930), and Black and White (1930). Popular during the British Dance Band scene, Swain's most famous composition is "Show Me The Way to Go Home", which has been featured in several films. KEN BEAUMONT (1913-1996) was a singer, disc jockey, and bandleader, famous performing with Billy Ternent and the BBC Dance Orchestra. Before forming his own band, Beaumont performed with other notables like Henry Hall and Oscar Rabin. His band, the Ken Beaumont Sextet, was formed for broadcasting and played at least 289 editions of their program Music While You Work. The other names, while identified, are not known. Corners worn.
