BASEBALL HALL OF FAMERS 14x11 Color photograph signed by nine Hall of Famers Photograph signed: "Warren Spahn", "Buck Leonard", "Joe Sewell", "Luke Appling", "Monte/Irvin", "Billy Herman", "Ernie Banks", "Bob Feller" and "Lou Boudreau". Color, 14x11. WARREN SPAHN (1921-2003) won more games (363) than any left-handed pitcher in baseball history. First Baseman BUCK LEONARD (1907-1997) spent 17 years with the Homestead Grays (1934-1950), the longest term of service with one team in Negro leagues history. JOE SEWELL (1898-1990), one of the greatest contact hitters in baseball history, had a record career rate of one strikeout every 63 at-bats and his 3 Ks in 1932 are the fewest ever for a full season. LUKE APPLING (1907-1991), with a lifetime batting average of .310, was known for his ability to intentionally foul-off pitches until receiving the pitch he wanted for a base hit. MONTE IRVIN (1919-2016) was one of the few ballplayers who excelled in both the Negro leagues and the major leagues. Second baseman BILLY HERMAN (1909-1992) still holds many fielding records, including most putouts in a season by a National League second baseman. ERNIE BANKS (1931-2015) hit 512 home runs and was the National League's MVP in 1958 and 1959 even though the Cubs finished in the second division both years. BOB FELLER (born 1918) spent his entire 18-year career with Cleveland, amassing 266 victories and 2,581 strikeouts, while leading the league in strikeouts seven times. LOU BOUDREAU (1917-2001) was an eight-time All-Star selection, four-time .300 hitter and won the A.L. batting title in 1944 as a player-manager. Edges lightly frayed. Otherwise, fine condition.
