KINGS OF BASEBALL: HANK AARON, NOLAN RYAN, PETE ROSE This baseball bat has been signed by three of the greatest men to play the game: Aaron, who held the home run record for 23 years until 2007, Ryan, with more shutouts and Ks than any other pitcher, and Rose, who still holds the record for hits. Comes with a gold-on-black Kings of Baseball nameplate affixed to the barrel. Baseball bat signed: "Pete Rose", "Nolan Ryan" and "Hank Aaron", 33¾x2½. Wood Adirondack baseball bat with blue stripe. With gold-on-black nameplate affixed to barrel above Rose and Aaron signatures, engraved: "KINGS OF BASEBALL/(paraph)/HANK AARON - Home Run King/PETE ROSE - Hit King/NOLAN RYAN - 'K' King". Hall of Famer AARON, born 1934, played for the Braves in Milwaukee (1954-1965) and Atlanta (1966-1974). He held the Major League home run record for 23 years - from April 8, 1974, when he broke Babe Ruth's record of 714, to August 7, 2007, when he was surpassed by San Francisco Giant Barry Bonds. Aaron is synonymous with home runs, but there was much more to Hammerin' Hank than his 755 round-trippers. He also set all-time marks for the most games, at bats, total bases and RBI's; and his batting average over 23 seasons was .305-indications of the all-around ability of this quiet man from Mobile. The National League MVP in 1957, he appeared in a record 24 All-Star contests with the Braves (Milwaukee and Atlanta) and Brewers. Nolan "Ryan's Express" RYAN dominated hitters for an unparalleled 27 seasons. Ryan has more strikeouts (5,714), pitched more no-hitters (seven) and played more seasons (27) than anyone in baseball history. Ryan, who retired after winning 324 games, was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999, his first year of eligibility, receiving 98.79% of the votes cast. ROSE, born in 1941, is major league baseball's career leader in hits (4,256), singles, at bats and games played, had more than 200 hits in a season ten times. Nicknamed "Charlie Hustle", the 17-time All-Star during a 24-year major league career (1963-1986) went on to manage the Cincinnati Reds (1984-1989), the team with which he had starred in four of his six World Series appearances. Allegations of betting on baseball led to Rose's suspension from baseball in 1989; consequently, his name has never appeared on a Hall of Fame ballot. Many fans support his reinstatement and/or election to the Hall. Aaron's signature is lightly smeared. Nameplate is lightly soiled. Otherwise, fine condition. Accompanied by PSA/DNA LOA.
