Advertisement for The Cameron Mackintosh/National Theatre Production of My Fair Lady, winner of 5 Olivier Awards. Scottish actress Hannah Gordon (b. 1954) spent a year in Dundee repertory theatre before moving to London. On television, she played Kirsty in the Doctor Who serial The Highlanders (1966-1967), and made several appearances as a guest reader on the children's program Jackanory. She got her first lead role in the sitcom My Wife Next Door (1972). She played Virginia Hamilton, second wife of Lord Bellamy in the fourth and fifth series of Upstairs, Downstairs. She appeared in the stage and film versions of Spring and Port Wine (1967, 1970). She appeared in Elephant Man, and starred in Alfie Darling (1980) and Miss Morrison's Ghosts (1981). She hosted the TV series Watercolor Challenge (1998-2002). In a busy 2007 Christmas season, she narrated Peter and the Wolf in a London concert, and appeared in holiday episodes of the BBC Scotland soap River City. She narrated the opening concert of the 2008 Edinburgh International Festival. Right edge lightly worn. Fine condition.
