Harrison Millard (1830-1895) was a composer and Civil War veteran. As a member of the 19th Infantry, he was wounded in the Battle of Chickamauga. He went on to become a music and opera composer, writing songs like “Abide with Me, 'Tis Eventide” (1870), “Waiting” (1867), and “Kiss Me, Good Bye” (1862). Short biography included. Lightly toned and worn. Adhesive remnants at corners. Irregular cut. Otherwise, fine condition.
