With transmittal envelope postmarked Hicksville, New York, March 25, 1980. "Keep the Change" was a lyric in Chapin's autobiographical song, "Taxi", which appeared on his 1972 album, Heads and Tales. His performance earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, and two years later Chapin would again be nominated, this time for Best Male Vocal Performance, for "Cat's in the Cradle". Known equally for his social activism, Harry Chapin (1942-1981) gave over 100 benefit concerts a year. He was on his way to a concert when he was killed in an automobile accident on the Long Island Expressway in 1981 at the age of 38. Tack holes at blank corners. Overall, fine condition.
