On official congressional letterhead. To "Dear Todd". In part: "During the past four years, I
have had the privilege to serve in Congress as the representative of Nevada's First
District. When th 100th Congress convenes in January, I will be serving you as Nevada's
Senator...My door is always open and I will be grateful for any comments or suggestions
you care to make. If I can be of assistance to you, please feel free to call upon me./ With
all best wishes". Harry Reid (1939-2021), a Nevada Democrat, has served as Nevada's
congressman (1983-1987) and a U.S. senator (since 1987). He was the Democratic Whip
from 1999 to 2005 and functioned as both the Senate Majority Leader (2007-2015)and the
Senate Minority Leader (beginning in 2015). Reid, who previously served in Nevada's House of
Representatives (1969-1970), was the Lieutenant Governor of Nevada (1970-1974) and
an unsuccessful candidate for Mayor of Las Vegas in 1975. Lightly toned. Two horizontal
mailing folds. Gently creased along top and right edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
