Autograph note signed: "Sincerely,/Harvey O'Higgins", in black
ink, 6x3½. June 7, 1924. Martinsville, New Jersey. In full: "Dear Mr.
Bohrer: I have no postcards, but perhaps this will do as well. Sincerely".
Harvey O'Higgins (1876-1929) was a journalist and author best known for
his publication The Daily German Lie, a propaganda press release
written in 1918 that addressed rumors and accusations made in the Bryce Report.
The Daily German Lie was mostly used to undermine government
authenticity. He also published several books outside of his political writings,
including The Beast, The Secret Springs, and A Grand
Army Man. Corners slightly worn and creased. Toned. Slightly soiled.
