The actors sign still from their 1990 acclaimed film
Photograph signed: "Robert Redford" in red ink and "Lena Olin" in black ink. Color, 8x10. Still from the 1990 film Havana. The rugged, dashingly handsome ROBERT REDFORD (b. 1936) was among the biggest movie stars of the 1970s. It was a leading role in the 1963 Broadway production of Barefoot in the Park that launched Redford to prominence and opened the door to Hollywood. Redford has been nominated for one Academy Award for Best Actor for The Sting(1973) and two for Best Director, for Ordinary People (1980) and Quiz Show (1994), winning in 1980. His many other starring roles include Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), All the President's Men (1976), The Natural (1984), Out of Africa (1985) and Spy Game (2001). In addition to his acting and directing work, Redford has also flexed his movie industry muscle as the founder of the Sundance Institute, an organization primarily devoted to promoting American independent filmmaking. LENA OLIN (b. 1955) is a Swedish actress best known for her films The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988) for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe, and for Enemies, A Love Story (1989) for which she was nominated for an Academy Award. Her other well-known films include Chocolat (2000), which was directed by her husband Lasse Hallstrom, Queen of the Damned (2002), Casanova (2005), and The Reader (2008). She appeared on television in the popular series Alias, and most recently stars in the Swedish sitcom Welcome to Sweden. Slightly toned. Ink notes on verso in unknown hand. Red ink bleeding slightly. Otherwise, fine condition.
