HEARTBREAK HOTEL MOVIE CAST: TUESDAY WELD and DAVID KEITH
Printed photograph signed by the two actors shown in side by side stills from the 1988 film
Printed Photograph Signed in Ink: "Thank you!//Tuesday Weld", "David Keith". B/w, 10x8. Movie still from the 1988 film, captioned at lower margin. Tuesday Weld, born Susan Ker Weld in 1943, is an Oscar and Emmy-nominated actress with over 60 screen credits. Weld's early life, however, was not a happy one. her father died when she was three and helped support her family as a child model. The pressures from this and a budding film career proved too much for Weld; she suffered a nervous breakdown and spiraled out of control at the young age of 12. She had a recurring role in The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis (1959-1962) and appeared opposite Elvis Presley in 1961's Wild in the Country and with Steve McQueen in Soldier in the Rain (1963), but still suffered on the gossip pages because of her reputation for recklessness. She was nominated for the 1978 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in Looking for Mr. Goodbar and for an Emmy in 1984 for her role in The Winter of Our Discontent. Perhaps her most famous role is as Max's girlfriend in Once Upon a Time in America (1984). David Keith (b. 1954) is an American actor and director. After numerous small roles in films and television shows, Keith became a star after receiving acclaim for his role as Sid Worley in An Officer and a Gentleman (1982). He received two Golden Globe nominations, one for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and one for New Star of the Year, for his performance. Since this breakout role, Keith has starred in the television shows High Incident (1996-1997), Flesh 'n' Blood (1991), and The Class (2006-2007). He's also appeared in bit parts in military movies such as Behind Enemy Lines (2000) and Men of Honor (2000). With over 100 acting credits to his name, he's also found the time to direct a few films of his own, including The Further Adventures of Tennessee Buck (1988). Fine condition.
