Signature: "Henry Brandon", 5x3 card. Actor Henry Brandon (1912-1990) was born Heinrich von Kleinbach in Berlin, Germany. After immigrating to the United States he got his first big break playing the role of Barnaby in the Laurel and Hardy film Babes in Toyland (1934). He appeared in two of director John Ford's films, The Searchers (1956) and Two Rode Together (1961). Brandon, a character actor who was often cast as a foreign menace or villain, played the antagonist Dr. Fu Manchu in the 1943 film Drums of Fu Manchu. He also appeared in several television programs including Rocky Jones, Space Ranger (1954), Lawman (1960), Maverick (1960), Wagon Train (1957-1961), Gunsmoke (1960, 1961), 77 Sunset Strip (1961, 1962), Mister Ed (1965), Mission Impossible (1969) and Murder She Wrote (1987).
