of all ages soon were imitating his leather-jacketed greaser with his trademark
"Aaaay!" Both before and since Happy Days completed its run (1974-1984)
on ABC, Winkler appeared several feature films, including Heroes (1977),
Night Shift (1982) and Scream (1996). Winkler has also appeared in
a long list of TV series, from Mary Tyler Moore (1973) to a recurring
role as Barry Zuckerhorn on Arrested Development (2003-2005). He
returned to headline his own sitcom with Out of Practice, which
debuted in September 2005. Winkler has also been a successful director, producer
and executive producer. Winkler is the author of a popular series of children's
books featuring "Hank Zipzer, the world's best underachiever." In 2002, Winkler
became the executive producer of the long-running TV game show Hollywood
Squares. Phyllis Diller, who made her first appearance on Hollywood
Squares in 1976, appeared often in 2003-2004. Two
