Signature: "Henry W Savage". With pencil notations on verso in unknown hand. 4¼x2 fabric-textured card. Savage (1859-1927, born in Durham, New Hampshire) was a theatrical producer who produced almost 60 Broadway shows between 1902 and 1925, including the original productions of The Prince of Pilsen (1903), The Merry Widow (1907-1908) and Everywoman (1911-1912). He produced the film adaptations of two of his plays, Excuse Me (1915) and Madame X (1916), and directed Excuse Me. Lightly toned, soiled and creased. Pin-sized area of paper loss near top edge. Otherwise, fine condition.
