American actor Henry Wadsworth (1897-1974) played supporting roles in
films from 1929 (Applause) to 1945 (Secret Agent X-9). Among his
better known films were The Thin Man (1934) and Dr. Kildare Goes
Home (1940). Saul Goodman (1919-2003), a New York business man by
day, pursued his love of film and theatre in the evening, making friends with
many celebrities. While other autograph seekers offered album leaves, Goodman
presented stars with snazzy photographs, a rarity then, to sign in fountain pen.
Light surface impressions (not visible head on). Worn at corners. Pencil
note (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
