Inscribed photograph signed: "To/Jimmy/Many thanks/Henry Wilcoxon", in black ink, B/w 8x10. Henry Wilcoxon (1905-1984, born Harry Rederick Wilcoxon in Dominica, British West Indies) began a long collaboration with Cecil B. DeMille when he portrayed Marc Antony in Cleopatra (1934). A generation later, he both acted in - and produced - DeMille's The Ten Commandments. Other films starring Wilcoxon included The Last of the Mohicans (1936) and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1949). Modern audiences probably know him best as Bishop Pickering from Caddyshack (1980). Corners slightly worn and creased, esp. bottom left corner. Pencil notes (unknown hand) on verso. Fine condition.
