Printed Photograph Signed in Ink: "Best Wishes,/Anne Archer" and "John Ritter" B/w, 10x8. Ritter (1948-2003), the son of Western music stars Tex Ritter and Dorothy Fay, had minor film roles until his Emmy-winning Jack Tripper on Three's Company (1977-1984). Although he made several films, showing he could handle drama as well as comedy with Sling Blade (1996) and Panic (2000), his real forte was TV comedy. His later shows included Hooperman (1987-1989), Hearts Afire (1992-1995) and Eight Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter (2002-2003). He was taken ill on the Simple Rules set, dying of heart complications on September 11, 2003. Archer (b.1947), who often plays vulnerable spouses, was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Fatal Attraction (1987). She played Harrison Ford's wife in the film versions of the Tom Clancy novels Patriot Games (1992) and Clear and Present Danger (1994). Other roles include The All-American Boy (1973) and Hero at Large (1980). Her TV appearances include a recurring guest role on Boston Public (2003). Corners and edges lightly creased. Fine condition.
