Hill Harper (b.1966) is an American stage, television and film actor and writer. As a student, Harper pursued acting by joining the Boston's Black Folks Theatre Company, which prompted him to travel to Los Angeles, after graduation, to become a professional actor. He had reoccurring roles on City of Angels (2000), The Handler (2003-2004), Soul Food (2004) and CSI: NY (2004-2013). Currently, he performs as Calder Michaels on USA's Covert Affairs (2013).
