Hill Harper (b.1966) is an American stage, television and film actor and writer. Born to highly accomplished psychiatrist anesthesiologist parents, Harper graduated Magna cum Laude from Brown University before attaining a J.D. cum laude at Harvard Law School and a Masters of Public Administration from the J.F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University where he befriended President Barack Obama. As a student, Harper pursued acting by joining the Boston's Black Folks Theatre Company, which prompted him to travel to Los Angeles, after graduation, to become a professional actor. After making his debut in 1993 on Married...With Children, Harper went on to appear in Drifting School (2005), Get on the Bus (1996), He got Game (1998) and The Visit (2001). He had reoccurring roles on City of Angels (2000), The Handler (2003-2004), Soul Food (2004) and CSI: NY (2004-2013). Currently, he performs as Calder Michaels on USA's Covert Affairs (2013). Harper is also the writer of several books, including Letters to a Younger Brother (2007). Fine condition.
