Comedian/actor Frank Fontaine (1920-1978) is best known for his "Crazy Guggenheim" character, which he portrayed on the TV series Jackie Gleason and His American Scene Magazine (1962-1966) and reprised on a guest visit to The Jackie Gleason Show in 1967. A fine singer as well as comedian, Fontaine was a regular on the TV series Music Hall (1952), and he guest starred on The Jack Benny Program (1951, 1959, 1960, 1961) and The Dean Martin Show (1966). Fontaine also appeared in several feature films from 1950-1953. John Carroll (1906-1979) drove race cars and studied voice in Europe before becoming a Hollywood stunt man. By the mid-1930s, he had become a leading man in many low-budget action movies. In 1937, he was a singing Zorro in a Republic Pictures serial, Zorro Rides Again. His last starring role was in Decision at Sundown, playing the villain faced off against Randolph Scott. Bowed. Slightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
