WILLIE NELSON started his career by writing hit songs for other performers; his most memorable include "Funny How Time Slips Away," "Night Life," and Crazy," which became a huge hit for Patsy Cline. Nelson's 1975 album, Red Headed Stranger," which included the song "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain," made him a star in his own right, and he became a popular concert performer as well as a star in such films as The Electric Horseman (1979) and this movie. His classic albums include Shotgun Willie, Phases and Stages and Stardust. His Wanted-The Outlaws was the first million-selling country album. DYAN CANNON earned Oscar nominations as Best Supporting Actress for Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969) and Heaven Can Wait (1978). She went through a stormy Spring/Autumn marriage to Cary Grant (1965-1968). Recent TV roles include a Judge on several episodes of Allie McBeal (1997-2000) and the mother on Three Sisters (2001-2002). Stage and screen actress AMY IRVING appeared on Broadway as Mozart's wife in Amadeus (1982) and won an Obie for Road to Mecca (1988). She was nominated for an Oscar as Best Supporting Actress in Yentil (1983) and for a Golden Globe as Best Actress for Crossing Delancey (1989).
