Show bill signed: "Hope Lange", in blue felt tip, 20 pages,
5¾x8½ affixed to a 9x12 sheet. Affixed is an unsigned photograph Lange. A
production of Blithe Spirit at the Peachtree Playhouse, 1978.
American actress Hope Lange (1931-2003) appeared on the Broadway
stage at age 12. Her first film role was in Bus Stop (1956), with first
husband Don Murray. She earned an Oscar and Golden Globe nomination for
Best Supporting Actress the next year for Peyton Place. Lange also
won two Emmy Awards and another Golden Globe nomination for her TV series
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1968-1970). Showbill; toned, light surface
creases, water damage on bottom margin, corners slightly worn, stain on top
margin, faint stains across. Sheet; toned on margins, small notch on bottom
right corner, corners worn and creased, small tear on right edge, slightly
bowed. Otherwise, fine condition.
