for Shakespeare in Love (1997) and Quills (2000). He scored an
Emmy for the TV miniseries The Life and Death of Peter Sellers
(2005). Among his other noteworthy performances have been as Francis
Walshingham in Elizabeth (1997), Leon Trotsky in Frida (2002) and
the villainous Captain Barbossa in the Pirates of the Caribbean
films (2003- ). Dutch actress FAMKE JANSSEN played Bond villain Xenia
Onatopp in GoldenEye (1995). In 1998, she played Kenneth Branagh's
ex-wife in Robert Altman's The Gingerbread Man, and the same actor's
girlfriend in Woody Allen's Celebrity. Since 2001 she has starred in
