The Presbyterian preacher quotes Psalm 37:23, signs his name in black ink

January 4, 1881. An American reviser of the English New Testament, Crosby wrote many influential books about political and religious affairs based on his Presbyterian views including The Lands of the Moslem (1851), Jesus: His Life and Works (1871), and True Temperance Reform (1879). Furthermore, he served as president of the American Philological Association in 1871. Toned. Frayed in left edge. Small stains on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
