HOWARD JONES. Album Cover signed: "Howard". Color, 12¼x12¼. His second - and  most successful -- album, Dream Into Action, which reached No. 10 on the Billboard charts. Released in 1985, the album produced the hit singles "Things Can Only Get Better", "Life in One Day" and "Look Mama". Another track, "No One to Blame", which was remixed and featured on his 1986 album, Action Replay, became Jones' biggest hit. Record included. British pop star John Howard Jones (b. 1955), who was known for his synthesizer-infused recordings, had his first hit single, "New Song", which climbed to No. 3 on the British charts, in 1983. His second single, "What is Love", did even better, peaking at No. 2. In the spring of 1984, Jones released his debut album, Humans Lib, which rose to No. 1 in England and became a moderate hit in the U.S. thanks to exposure on MTV. Jones, whose albums also include Cross That Line (1989), In the Running (1992), Working the Backroom (1994), Live Acoustic America (1996), Peaceful Tour (2002) and Revolution of the Heart (2005), has been a popular touring performer both in Europe and the U.S., and he is a cult figure in his native England. Cover is lightly creased. ¾-inch tear at lower right edge of front cover, worn at edges. Record, in original sleeve, which has lyrics imprinted on one side, is in fine condition.
