With 6¼x3¼ initiation fee receipt carbon copy with perforated left edge stapled at top edge of form. Membership form for the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. British-born composer and conductor Lucraft (1916-2011),was an orchestral leader for the BBC before emigrating to the United States. He composes and arranges music for records, TV and radio and, in the United States, has led bands in the southwestern United States. Lucraft's radio shows included Jazz International, which was heard by more than 100 million listeners over American Forces Radio, He was also music editor for Daily Varietyand has written for periodicals including Down Beat, Jazz Times, the London Daily Herald and Sun and the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner and Times. His compositions include Los Angeles Jazz Suite, which was performed at the 1960 Los Angeles Jazz Festival. Lightly toned and creased. Form has light tear in left edge. Receipt has carbon copy marks and has been folded once and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
