Metzenbaum (1917-2008, born in Cleveland, Ohio) was a Democratic U.S. Senator from Ohio in 1974 and from 1977 to 1995. An attorney, Metzenbaum had previously served in the Ohio State House of Representatives (1943-1946) and the Ohio State Senate (1947-1950). After retiring from electoral politics he became Chairman of the Consumer Federation of America (1995). Slightly creased with folds, not at signature. Staple holes at upper left margin, date stamp at upper right margin. Otherwise in fine condition.
