HOYT ANDRES. Signature: "Hoyt Andres - WKY-TV Oklahoma City/Bless you -", 9½x4. Dated by Andres: "Oct. 20" above his signature. Two unidentified signatures on verso. While working at WKY-TV in Oklahoma City, Hoyt Andres went to Hollywood to study the lighting used for movies and television. He is credited as the originator of the 3-D Danny concept. In 1954, WKY-TV became one of the first stations to broadcast local live color programs. The following year, Andres was sent to manage WSFA radio and television properties in Montgomery, Alabama. He was Vice President/General Manager of WSFA-TV when he retired in 2006. Slightly creased. Lightly shaded at lower margin. Light show through of writing. Fine condition.
